Patrick Rakovsky – A-: Rakovsky had three saves and the late goal he conceded that tied the game at 1-1 for Memphis 901 FC. The goal wasn’t necessarily his fault, as he had good positioning on the shot and the OCSC defense left him exposed. His best save came in the 57th minute when he got his fingertips on a freekick from Memphis midfielder Aaron Molloy that was headed towards the bottom left corner.

Michael Orozco – B+: Orozco completed the match with a passing accuracy of 77.8 percent, five clearances, one tackle, a blocked shot, and an interception. The captain played well and did as much as possible on the backline to thwart Memphis 901 FC’s counter-attacks. He received a yellow card in the 22nd minute for a stout tackle on Memphis forward Phillip Goodrum in an attempt to intercept the ball.

Daniel A. Pedersen – A-: Pedersen completed the match with a passing accuracy of 71.1 percent, seven tackles, three interceptions, one blocked shot, and a clearance. He performed well in the center-back position. He had the best performance in defense for OCSC, staying alert to impede Memphis counter-attacks on multiple occasions. He received a yellow card in the 57th minute for a horse collar foul on Memphis forward Phillip Goodrum.

Ian Hoffman – B-: He completed the match with a passing accuracy of 73.3 percent, two tackles, a clearance, and an interception. Hoffman was not man-marking properly on the Memphis 901 FC equalizer. He left Memphis midfielder Jeremy Kelly unmarked as he was able to convert the equalizer calmly.

Alex Villanueva – B: He completed the match with a passing accuracy of 76.5 percent, three tackles, two chances created, two interceptions, and a successful cross. Villanueva performed well pushing up to provide passing support in link-up play and tracking back to defend against Memphis’ counter-attacks.

Kyle Scott – B: Scott got his first start for OCSC this season against Memphis 901 FC. He finished with a passing accuracy of 83.3 percent, four tackles, an interception, and one blocked shot. Scott came off the pitch for Seth Casiple in the 65th minute.

Dillon Powers – B+: Powers occupied the center defensive midfield position in front of Michael Orozco and Daniel A. Pedersen. Pedersen usually plays in the central defensive midfield position, but head coach Richard Chaplow elected to try a different option for this match. Powers completed the match with a passing accuracy of 83.7 percent, two clearances, a tackle, and a chance created.

Kevin Partida – B+: Partida finished with a passing accuracy of 87.1 percent, two tackles, an interception, and a successful cross. Partida played exceptionally in midfield, recuperating balls and threading them forward for the OCSC attack. Partida came off the pitch for Tony Rocha in the 71st minute.

Milan Iloski – A-: Iloski provided the assist on his brothers’ goal to make it 1-0 for OCSC. Milan and Brian’s chemistry on the pitch was a handful for the Memphis defense. Iloski finished with a passing accuracy of 66.7 percent, two chances created, and an interception. Iloski came off the pitch for Tommy McCabe in the 83rd minute.

Erick “Cubo” Torres – B-: Torres played well up front in the striker position but couldn’t find the back of the net. He scored in the 62nd minute to make it 2-0 for OCSC, but the goal was disallowed due to an offside call on him. Torres finished with a passing accuracy of 91.7 percent and a shot on target. Torres came off the pitch for Albi Skendi in the 65th minute.

Brian Iloski – A: Iloski scored the goal to take the lead for OCSC in the first half. He displayed his dribbling and finishing prowess, causing problems for the Memphis defense. He finished the match with a passing accuracy of 75 percent, three shots on target, two chances created, two successful crosses, and a tackle.

Substitutes:

Seth Casiple – B: He came on the pitch for Kyle Scott in the 65th minute. He completed the match with a passing accuracy of 100 percent, two successful crosses, two chances created, a clearance, and an interception. His corner in the 89th minute almost led to a goal for OCSC after Daniel A. Pedersen’s header hit the post and landed to Dillon Powers, whose shot went over the bar.

Albi Skendi – C: He came on the pitch for Erick “Cubo” Torres in the 65th minute and got to play in his natural striker position. He had a promising chance with his head in the 77th minute, but the attempt went wide left. Skendi completed the match with a passing accuracy of 50 percent, a blocked shot, and a tackle.

Tony Rocha – C+: He came on the pitch for Kevin Partida in the 71st minute, providing support in central midfield. Rocha completed the match with a passing accuracy of 90.9 percent and one successful tackle. He received a yellow card for time-wasting in the 84th minute.

Tommy McCabe – N/A: He came on the pitch for Milan Iloski in the 83rd minute. He did not play enough minutes to receive a grade.
