Jake McGuire – C+: Had four saves on the night. He pulled off some pivotal saves and kept NCFC in the match during the first half. Only five minutes into the second half he got sucked into a tricky challenge and gave up a penalty. Didn’t seem to be as sharp in the second half.

Nelson Flores – C+: Had one clearance, one interception, and one tackle. It was a decent performance, but he wasn’t really able to stamp his authority on the match. He had to deal with a number of attacks from the Owls and he was quite focused on his defensive duties. Had a sensational block towards the end of the match that could have been a goal.

Britton Fischer – C+: Had two tackles, two blocked shots, and one clearance. He definitely put up a good fight and displayed courage with his work tonight. Fischer consistently gave great support to Max Flick when he stepped towards the ball. He definitely had his hands full in the second half as Omaha continued to create more chances. A decent performance, but in the end he struggled in some parts of the half.

Max Flick – B-: Had four tackles and three interceptions. No player dribbled past him the entire match and contained Omaha attackers reasonably well. It was a gritty performance. He led the backline well. Another performance where Flick displayed his toughness.

Parker O’ Ferral – C+: Had four clearances, two tackles, and one interception. O’Ferral had some trouble dealing with Conor Doyle and Man of the Match Damia Vlader during the match. His work rate was excellent, but he didn’t have much of an impact on the offensive side of the match. As a young defender, there are certain aspects of his game that will continue to grow. Tonight was a night he certainly had his hands full and he can take learning experiences from the match.

Nelson Martinez – C+: Had two interceptions, one tackle, and one clearance. His work rate was excellent and fought hard for the club. In possession, he had a difficult night. Martinez seemed to hold onto the ball for slightly too long during the match. His ball retention was as efficient as usual, and he ended up losing possession eight times. Worked his socks off for the team in a difficult match.

Joshua Coan – C+: Linked up with his teammates well with some really good passes. Other than a couple of really good moments, he was quiet for most of the match. After 58 minutes, he was subbed off. He completed 79% of passes, but couldn’t really carve out any significant chances.

Aziel Jackson – C+: Jackson looked eager to impress and tried to create some really good chances. He mainly kept it simple in the final third when passing lanes were cut off. It was apparent that he was starting to tire in the second half and he was subbed off in the 76th minute.

Nazmi Albadawi – B: Albadawi put in a really good performance tonight. He was at the center of everything that went well for NCFC. Had three key passes and was the main creator for the club. He moved the ball exceptionally well. It was a display of his brilliant technical display. In his second to last match for the club before he retires, he didn’t disappoint.

Cole Frame – C+: Had a pretty good performance tonight. He is turning into one of the key attackers in NCFC’s team and should have a pivotal role in the future. The 18-year-old produced a stunning piece of skill near to the byline in the second half. Some of his passes seemed a little less precise as usual. His touch at some point was somewhat errant.

Robbie Kristo – B-: Had a pretty good performance tonight. He executed his role well as the focal point of the attack. Kristo linked up with teammates well and held up play when he needed to. He had a couple of good headers that he did well to direct towards goal.

Thorn Simpson – C+: Entered in the 58th minute. He ran the attacking channels well and completed all of his passes when he came on. Simpson had a really good chance that was blocked in the dying embers of the match. He did well to hold off the defender at that moment and get a quality shot off.

Jay Tee Kamara – B: Entered in the 58th minute. He was the best player on the pitch and he only played 32 minutes tonight. As soon as he came on he gave Union Omaha problems. His close control and exceptional dribbling was on display tonight. Kamara completed three key passes and had a pivotal impact on the second half.

Pecka – C+: Didn’t really have too much an impact when he came on. But, he kept possession well and moved the team forward from midfield. He completed every single pass in the 22 minutes he was on the field.

Daniel Steedman – C+: Came on to make his debut for the club in the 76th minute. Looked tidy in possession and was bright when for the 14 minutes he was on the field.
