Black & Gold Report
LAFC’s rough start to the MLS season continued last week when they were defeated 2-0 by the league-leading Seattle Sounders. After winning their opening match, the Black & Gold have only claimed two points from their previous four games.
Los Angeles has a good record against the Rapids and they are returning home after a three-game road trip. LAFC will have a tough task with the growing confidence of Colorado, but look for the Black & Gold to get back on track with a narrow victory.

Duenas and Traore are still not fit for the match and will remain on the sidelines.
After missing a couple weeks with a hamstring injury, captain Carlos Vela returned as a sub last week in the defeat to Seattle. Expect Vela to return to the starting lineup and lead the attack for LA.

Rapids Team Report
Confidence is at an all-time high for the Rapids players after they downed the Houston Dynamo 3-1 last week. It is their third successive win, and they travel to LA looking for their first four-game win streak since 2003.
If the Rapids win and the LA Galaxy lose to the Portland Timbers, Colorado will move into the top two.
Expect a tight match throughout and a deciding goal coming late.
